Bichebi

An outdoor private screening of Timofey Abashev's film Bichebi, followed by an informal gathering. A raw documentary about teenagers in emigration. Alcohol, parties, bullying, endless wandering, and first love. Four young men — Russian, Ukrainian, Armenian, and Georgian — who found themselves in Tbilisi at the start of the war, navigate the peak of their youth in exile. Produced within the DocKvartira directing workshop, the film has been screened in dozens of cities worldwide, featured in the Artdocfest Online program, and shortlisted for the independent Lavr documentary award.
