Ship of Fools

The second premiere of the play "Ship of Fools," directed by Sergey Kaydashov. Seven people find themselves trapped by a flood in a communal house in the Russian provinces, unable to cross the lake that separates them from the rest of the world. Against a backdrop of everyday squabbles and reconciliations, an absurd communal comedy unfolds featuring characters with polar-opposite personalities and values who, despite their differences, are remarkably like us.
