The Country of Fathers: Vocal Epic Poem
TheaterA theatrical production of Georgy Sviridov’s vocal epic poem based on 11 poems by Avetik Isahakyan is presented for the first time in Armenia. The performance merges music, poetry, and drama to recreate images of childhood, motherhood, and the homeland. In this vocal dialogue, the bass embodies the voice of the earth and epic wisdom, while the tenor represents lyricism and personal grief. Their performance within the Master's house-museum creates a conversation between the past and the present.
