A seminar and masterclass on miniature painting led by artist and founder of Armenian miniature studio Anna Margaryan. The theoretical part explores the history, characteristics, and use of Vordan Karmir (Armenian cochineal), a natural pigment central to medieval Armenian illumination. Attendees will see the entire paint preparation process and learn about the materials and techniques used by medieval masters. In the hands-on practical session, participants will use the prepared paint to create illuminated postcards in the Armenian miniature style. Duration: 1.5 hours. Refreshments included.
