Are You Angry?
A family play in two acts based on fairy tales by Hovhannes Tumanyan and Hans Christian Andersen. The production explores the theme of anger—is it worth losing everything for a moment of rage? Act I: Master and Laborer (Hovhannes Tumanyan) A master sets a trap for his servants: the first one to lose their temper pays a massive fine. He grows rich on others' anger until he meets a servant who knows exactly how to play the game. Act II: What the Old Man Does is Always Right (Hans Christian Andersen) An old man trades the family’s only horse for a series of increasingly worthless items. Passersby bet a sack of gold that his wife will be furious, but the old man is certain that love and trust will prevail.
