An autumn hike to Mount Shunkar, one of the branches of the Miapor mountain chain known for its rocky peak and views over the Ijevan mountains. The route begins in Getik valley and finishes in Aghavnavank village. • Route length: 17 km • Elevation gain: 1,200 m • Return: 20:30 • Includes: transportation and guide services Meeting point: Sakharov Square (corner of Nalbandyan and Pushkin streets, near the former fire station). Please arrive 10 minutes before departure; latecomers are not waited for. What to prepare: • Comfortable hiking clothing (warm top and light jacket) and non-fabric hiking boots • Sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, and a second pair of shoes (can be left in the vehicle) • Water and food for one day (sandwiches, fruit, vegetables, dried fruit, nuts; reusable containers requested) Registration: call 094 274 654, fill out the agreement form (for first-time participants), make payment via bank transfer to Astghik Harutyunyan (IDBank), and send the receipt. Registration is confirmed once all steps are completed.
