Three sisters

Time is the central character of the performance. Its transformation from an object into something possessing subjective qualities becomes the focus of the exploration. The plot unfolds in reverse, moving from the fourth act to the first. This retrospective approach, inherent in the world of Chekhov’s characters, resonates with the present day: the desire to relive certain moments because we failed to appreciate them at the time, or the attempt to understand the origins of particular events, is a familiar impulse in contemporary life.
