After performing in Baku, an elderly French actor named Jean-Paul Bolzec finds himself unexpectedly in the Armenian border village of Khachik. At first, the villagers suspect him of being a spy, but they soon become convinced that he is the benefactor they have long been waiting for—someone who will help develop the village and turn their hopes into reality. Through humor and occasionally absurd situations, the film explores themes of trust between strangers, the challenges of communication, life on the border, and human understanding.
