Performance by Sabrina Bellenzier. A hybrid, chimeric being—both futuristic and ancient at the same time—explores a different mode of existence in a suspended atmosphere. Drawing from speculative fiction and inspired by Gilles Clément's concept of the “third landscape” (referring to marginal or human-abandoned spaces that nature reclaims as areas of biological diversity and symbiosis), the performance explores how symbiosis, hybridisation, and mutation translate onto a body—how the human and non-human can merge, and how bodies can become landscape.
