How can a global climate conference be staged as an interactive format with 600 participants? How can untrained spectators step into the roles of CEOs and lobbyists in a large-scale reenactment of the World Economic Forum in Davos? Members of Rimini Protokoll will travel to Armenia for a research visit and present a lecture. Helgard Haug, Stefan Kaegi and Daniel Wetzel founded the theatre-label Rimini Protokoll in 2000 in Germany. Work by work they have expanded the means of documentary theatre to create new perspectives on reality. Rimini Protokoll often develop their stage-works, interventions, performative installations and audio plays together with experts who have gained their knowledge and skills beyond the theatre. Many of their works feature interactivity and a playful use of technology. Rimini Protokoll will present and comment on short videos from their recent documentary projects.
