Igor Lisov (Saint Petersburg, “Zelyonye Rukava”) is a lutenist, flutist, and performer. He reimagines late Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque music, crafting loose translations into conversational Russian and bridging the past with the present. Using a loop station, he records lute in real time and plays the traverso flute over it. Folk humor meets high poetry, and an educational musical stand-up blends with moments of delicate resonance as he brings centuries-old music to life.
