Returning for the fourth time to the same slope in the Hrazdan Gorge. While past cleanups have made a major dent, older layers of waste—construction debris, bulky trash, plastic, and glass—remain buried in the soil among rocks and tree roots. The Yerevan Municipality will be supporting with heavy machinery to clear the toughest spots. Much of the work will still be hands-on: the slope is steep and wooded, inaccessible to equipment, and right beside the river, so trash needs to be collected and carried out manually to keep it out of the water.
