Sound installation by Mariana Pinto Coelho Dias, presented within the framework of COP17 and the Gulbenkian Natural Heritage initiative. Created from field recordings made during an artist residency at the Calouste Gulbenkian Modern Art Centre, the work recreates the evolving soundscape of Lisbon's Gulbenkian Garden from dawn to dusk. Birds and animals merge with human voices, urban ambience, and overhead planes to explore the relationship between people, other species, and their shared environment. The accompanying program also features panel discussions, a documentary screening, and a book presentation exploring the roles of philanthropy, environmental organizations, and local communities in nature conservation.
