A 21 km hike through Tavush forests starting from the village of Acharkut. The route passes the 12th–13th-century single-arch stone Sranots Bridge over the Karahan River, with nearby ruins of an old settlement, and leads to the 13th-century brick Kirants Monastery. Required gear: hiking or sturdy sports shoes, comfortable hiking clothing. Recommended items: sun protection (glasses, hat, sunscreen), rain gear, trekking poles, a spare set of shoes and clothes, plus food and water for the day (a food court stop will be made on the way).
