Shakespeare’s poetry infused with Ernjakyan’s dramaturgy. Written four centuries ago, the play holds onto its sharp relevance, confronting selfishness and opportunism as timeless human tragedies. Through Ara Ernjakyan’s signature authorial theater — driven by distinctive staging, lighting, and sound design — this classic tale finds fresh breath. It centers on the age-old conflict of fathers and sons, where one risks his life to expand the nation’s borders, while the other thoughtlessly surrenders them to the enemy.
