A black-and-white, slow-paced philosophical drama about European explorers encountering the Indigenous peoples of the Amazon. The film centers on the clash of civilizations: colonialism, the destruction of Indigenous cultures, spirituality, and humanity’s attempt to reconnect with nature. Followed by a post-screening discussion with Arevik, an experienced Spanish and English teacher and Hispanic culture enthusiast.
