Apricot Immersive: VR the World

Golden Apricot’s newest section, Apricot Immersive, presents four award-winning virtual reality films under the title "VR the World." In Pursuit of Repetitive Beats (Darren Emerson, 55 min) — An immersive trip back to the rave culture of 1989. The Man Who Couldn't Leave (Chen Singing, 35 min) — A visit to a former prison on Green Island to hear stories of Taiwan’s White Terror era. Ito Meikyu (Boris Labbé, 15 min) — A contemplative journey through a "labyrinth of threads" inspired by Japanese art and literature.
