Generative systems can produce sound endlessly. But how do you create a composition rather than an infinite stream? Shervin Saremi (School of Sonic Arts, Tehran) proposes composing a space instead of a timeline. Drawing on topology — the mathematics of shape and connectivity — the lecture explores how spatial networks can turn an endless process into a deliberate, structured composition. Language: English.
