Screening of "A Dandelion's Odyssey" followed by a masterclass with director Momoko Seto, award winner at the Cannes and Berlin film festivals. In her experimental films, Seto combines art, science, and nature, turning seeds and microorganisms into poetic cinema through macro photography. "A Dandelion's Odyssey" follows four unusual seeds—Dandelion, Baraban, Leonto, and Taraxa—who survive a nuclear explosion, end up in outer space, land on an unknown planet, and search for a new home. After the screening, Momoko Seto will share how scientific research translates into cinema, reflecting on her filmmaking practice and approach to merging science with film.
