A production of Anton Chekhov's play by Tóth József Theatre (Hungary). The performance tells the story of lonely people caught in the endless cycle of life. Staged with deliberate minimalism and a strictly restrained color palette, the director envisions Chekhov as a musical prayer, leaving an almost bare space where the characters' solitude and inner lives are brought into sharp relief. Language: in Hungarian with Russian subtitles.
