LIBRARY We live in a world that tells us to hold on to everything, yet the things we value most—memory, time, and experience—cannot be held on to forever. This project is a shared digital space based on one principle: permanence is finite, but it can be taken from someone else. Participants move freely through the space, adding and placing marks and objects. Nothing here is permanent by default — everything slowly drifts toward abstraction, existing but becoming unrecognizable unless someone chooses otherwise. Making something permanent is making a claim. The space asks, "What's one thing you want to stay here?" But permanence is limited. Once it runs out, keeping something forever means taking that permanence from someone else. Nothing ever fully disappears. What fades becomes residue—a trace of what it once was. What to keep, what to let go, and what to take. Unlike the space itself, this record does not fade. The space forgets. The ritual remembers. by Shahane
