7 Peaks of Geghama Mountains

An expeditionary hike starting from Tsovazard village. The route traverses volcanic cones and hill-like mountains, covering seven named peaks: Yotnaghbyur (2,680 m), Mets Dar (2,485 m), Nkaren (2,491 m), Porak (2,453 m), Abasayr (2,488 m), Janasar (2,544 m), and Ishablur (2,517 m). Route length: 24 km Altitude gain: 1100 m This hike requires prior experience and physical endurance. Required gear: backpack, one-day food supply, water (at least 1.5l), personal first aid kit, sunglasses, sunscreen, cap, warm clothes, headlight, raincoat, hiking gaiters. Wear sporty clothes and hiking boots or shoes with hard soles; bring a spare pair of shoes. Meeting point: Martiros Saryan park.
