Ascent to Mount Kalasar

From the summit of Mount Kalasar (2230 m) in Vayots Dzor, hikers can enjoy a magnetic view of the Teksar mountain range. The peak also holds the remnants of an ancient fortress. Route length: 8 km Altitude gain: 500 m Required items: Backpack (mandatory), trekking poles, one-day meal, water (at least 1.5l), personal first aid kit, sunglasses, sun cream, cap, warm clothes, flashlight, raincoat, hiking gaiters.
