Mt. Aghavno Hike & Aparan Reservoir

A hike through the Bujakan Mountains to the summit of Mt. Aghavno (2,309 m). The peak offers views of the Teghenyats Mountains, the Kasagh Gorge, and Mt. Aragats. The descent follows a scenic forest trail leading to the Poghos-Petros Church on the shores of the Aparan Reservoir. Altitude gain: 600 m Distance: 13 km Required gear: backpack, one-day meal, water (min. 1.5L), sunscreen, cap, warm clothes, raincoat, and personal first aid kit. Late cancellations or missing the bus are non-refundable.
