Hiking to Rapi Lake

A hike to Rapi Lake, one of the gems of Mount Aragats. The trail starts from Geghadzor village, heading through the Dashtakijur river valley toward the lake situated right under the northern wall of the mountain. Distance: 20 km Elevation gain: 800 m Requirements: Comfortable clothing and hiking shoes, a day's supply of light food, at least 1.5-2L of water, sun protection (hat, glasses, sunscreen), and a raincoat. Hiking poles are optional. Meeting point: Near the "Hands" statue at Yeritasardakan metro station park. Fee: 8,500 AMD (includes transportation and guide services).
