Ari PariJoin us for an open workshop of traditional songs dedicated to the festival of Vardavar. The session will be led by Harutyun Panosyan, a legendary figure in Armenian folk culture and former director of the Akunk and Van ensembles. It is a rare chance to learn ancient rituals and songs through intimate conversation and practice. This time, the event takes a special format: a cozy gathering in the courtyard of Mr. Panosyan’s home, bringing neighbors and friends together. We will end the evening with traditional dances to the rhythmic sounds of the kopal. No singing experience is required—folk songs belong to everyone. Meeting point: The inner courtyard of Byron St. 4, 2/1, 6 (near the Komitas State Conservatory). Free admission.
