TUMO StudiosHow does a scent preserve memory, and what happens when fragrance becomes a tangible object? Led by London-based designer and WAX Atelier co-founder Lola Lely, participants will explore scent as a material for making. Inspired by the tradition of Myron, the workshop investigates how fragrance, ritual, and craft converge in contemporary design. Participants will: - Gather visual and sensory references from architecture, ornaments, and historical objects - Experiment with natural waxes, oils, and resins - Develop original personal scents - Learn mould-making, wax casting, and cameo carving techniques Students will create a collection of scented wax objects that carry both personal narratives and cultural references. This workshop runs alongside the atelier led by Arjan van Dal as part of a shared creative process.
