Mt. Azhdahak and Mt. Karmir Katar

We are climbing the highest peak of the Geghama mountain range — Mt. Azhdahak (3597m). Off-road vehicles will take us to the foot of Mt. Paytasar, where we will start our hike across the ridge over the peak of Mt. Karmir Katar to the top of Azhdahak. We will also visit Vanki Lake to see its ancient dragon-stones (vishapakars) and the petroglyphs of the Geghama Mountains. Distance: 12 km Elevation gain: 700 m
